Our 100%-owned Ptarmigan Property is part of a 9,900 hectare largely unexplored land package, approximately 70 kilometers west of Radium British Columbia.

The focus of the Project is to expand known massive sulphide mineralization in an area surrounding the Ptarmigan-Iron Cap basin, which is comprised of high-grade silver (304 g/t Ag to 9,680 g/t Ag) and gold (0.5 g/t Au to 8.8 g/t Au). Multiple zones, bearing strong sulphide mineralization, extend from surface through the Level 1 workings of the former mine and remain open down plunge to the south, with an estimated thickness of 5.5 m to 8 m.

The geology of the Ptarmigan basin is well documented (Historical Data) and includes information acquired over a 100 year period. Mineralization is interpreted to be structurally controlled in various folds and faults. Historical smelter records from 1959 document multiple shipments totaling 32.2 tonnes, averaging 2,638 g/t Ag (77 oz/t) and 1.7 g/t Au. High-grade ore was also reportedly produced from the Ptarmigan Mine, yielding approximately 89,000 oz of Ag, with average grades of 4,215 g/t Ag, 5.4 g/t Au, 0.58% Cu, 0.54% Pb and 0.13% Zn. The Ptarmigan Mine and Upper/East Ptarmigan are interpreted to host silver- and gold- bearing, pyrite mineralized sulphide bodies.

The Massive sulphide mineralization, comprising 85.8% combined (Fe + S) and reflecting predominantly pyritic massive sulphides, returned high grade results up-to 2,210 g/t Ag, 1.77 g/t Au, 1.36 % Cu, 0.15% Pb 0.12% Zn, 41.5% Fe, 44.3% S.

Exploration to date has demonstrated
  • High grade mineralization (Ag, Au, Cu, Pb, Zn) over significant areas

  • Geophysics (IP, SP, Ground gravity, Airborne EM & VLF) supports possible extensions at depth

  • Extensive geochemical sampling documented polymetallic mineralization at surface

  • Continuous mineralization within zones

  • Mineralized trend documented at surface over 2 kilometers

  • Multiple mineralized zones open along strike and to depth
